30 days of work in fashion

If you are thinking about working in the fashion industry and you would like to find out how the life in a fashion communications agency really looks like, THIS TEXT IS FOR YOU. Here is a brief summary of the last 30 days at Aliganza.

In case of any doubts, working in fashion does not only mean sitting in the first row at a well-known designer show. It also includes everyday duties and tasks. However, this does not necessarily mean boredom, as in the last 30 days:

  • we went on four business trips abroad. Although our headquarters is located in Warsaw, sometimes our meetings or events take place in other cities or countries. In September, we flew to London, Paris, Hamburg and Cologne
  • we got four covers
  • we attended four fashion shows


Together with our invited influencers – KatAstro, Ofelia Iga Krefft and Daria Zhalina – we went to Paris to attend the hottest event of the season: ETAM LIVE SHOW! We met top models, Constance Jablonski and Joan Smalls, as well as the singer Cardi B.

In London we participated in the BEING MORE GLOBAL conference organized by the international network of SERMO communications agencies of which we have been a member for 2 years. It was a very productive meeting. We discussed and FORECASTED TRENDS IN THE INDUSTRY with representatives of agencies from Europe, as well as Singapore, Shanghai or Dubai.

And after a busy day we went to an evening party accompanying the London fashion week, organized by the British Fashion Council. This is exactly the way we work in our agency. Lots of hard work followed by lots of fun 😉

In Hamburg, we had a meeting with our client, ABOUT YOU, for whom in August we organized the hottest party of the season. Thanks to the buzz created by the media and influencers, we managed to reach 4.2 million people on Instagram! And the number of likes of ABOUT YOU-related posts exceeded 260,000.

As we have already mentioned, we also went to Cologne, but we will write about it later because it is a Secret Project for now.


or magazine titles where the stylists used our clients’ products on the cover photo. It is always the source of great satisfaction and joy for us. Of course, publications inside the magazine please us just as much 😉 This month, we managed to get four covers for our clients: Levi’s, ETAM, and Diego M.


In our showroom at Szpitalna street, stylists rent outfits for celebrities to wear during important events, such as an evening party or a TV show.

In September, TVN launched a new edition of AMERICA EXPRESS, and Magdalena Steczkowska appeared at the kickoff meeting on Dzień Dobry TVN wearing our client’s outfit, Lju Jo.

In the third episode of the latest edition of TOP MODEL, the host Michał Piróg sported a Levi’s denim jacket.

TV host Paulina Sykut Jeżyna chose Top Secret as her fall outfit during the event.


September is an important month due to global fashion weeks and shows presenting the SS19 collections (i.e. spring/summer 2019.) This year, the glasses of our client, Luxottica, travelled with Maccademian Girl to the Milan fashion weekend. As for us, we were carefully spotting the latest trends in front of our computers 🙂


Together with the Italian brand Liu Jo, we organized denim customization workshops. The event, located in the minimalistic interiors of Mysia 3, was attended by media representatives, who could participate in a creative designing process to create the jeans of their dreams.

During the weekends, we worked out with PUMA. PUMA workout track is dedicated to all strong and independent women and it is a continuation of the #DOYOU campaign, which encourages women to be themselves and to do things for themselves. We also managed social media for this track and invited influencers to work out together.

The fact that everyone is stronger as a group was also confirmed during ECCO WALKHATON. We invited our influencer friends to walk together.

Our walk resulted in over PLN 400,000 for the rehabilitation of children under the auspices of TVN “Nie jesteś sam” Foundation, Radio ZET Foundation and PANDA Foundation. WELL DONE!

We also prepared a presentation of Top Secret collection for winter 2018. During the event located in the Miłość apartment in Warsaw, accompanied by a romantic piano concert, our guests could see the latest collection of the brand.

In September, we also carried out creative deliveries, two of them for our beauty client, The BodyShop, as well as one for ETAM.


This is why we attended the show presenting Lidia Kalita’s haute couture collection.

We also participated in the Glamour Woman of the Year event, where our client, F&F, announced the winners of the Woman of the Year award.

We also took part in Levi’s x Glamour Brain Lab workshops, where we took care of the fashion industry audience as part of our regular influencer services 🙂

Apart from the abovementioned activities, we also managed everyday communications of our brands, but I will write about the fashion/beauty/lifestyle brand communications activities on the next occasion.
